The building is located on the eastern edge of the city's Financial District where it is wedged between Front Street and Wellington generating an amazing view of the building at the triangular intersection. The building was declared a historic site under the Ontario Heritage Act in 1975. The Gooderham building is one of Toronto's finest representations of the combination of architecture and art.
